THIS WAS ALL ME. ugh. plagiarism. just kidding.

Today we watched Cupcake Wars (after eating corn for lunch). Evidently, this was the result!

It was really exciting because in one of the episodes, I recognized one of the contestants the owner of a little bakery in my city. It’s called Sugar Tart, and she makes the best ‘Cat’ cupcakes (coconut and pineapple). She closed up the bakery half a year ago and I haven’t been able to find another coconut cupcake I like as much. (Although Some Crust in Claremont is. amazing!)

Anyway so we made cupcakes with whatever was in the house. My cousin did most of the work and I was the snooty judge. (And it wasn’t from scratch. Bite me.)

German Chocolate Cupcakes with Coconut Pecan Frosting, garnished with Strawberries, Cherries, Whip Cream, and Chocolate Chips.

I hate watching the Food network because it always makes me want to cook. I love it because I can vicariously eat through the screen. Or something.

What was my day?
